What you’ll do Lead feasibility studies and detailed engineering of new structures or rehabilitation of existing structures (dams, spillways, hydroelectric power plants). Lead the completion and review of reinforced concrete and steel structure design. Participate in site inspections as needed. Lead the preparation of plans and specifications. Prepare reports and calculation notes. Lead and carry out dam safety studies. Mentor and supervise younger engineers. What you’ll bring to WSP Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent program. 12+ years of experience in structural engineering. Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in your province of practice. Experience with concrete and steel structure design in Hydropower and Dams projects is required. Multidisciplinary versatility, leadership skills, dynamic, team-spirited, quality-oriented, and technical excellence are essential. Strong communication skills.
