Sr. Product Experience Designer Mastercard is a global technology company in the payments industry. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sr. Product Experience Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a healthy balance of design and research skills combined with a collaborative approach to their design process. You will be part of a small design team working on tools that assist in bringing purchase insights to card holders and enable card issuers and merchants to manage post‑purchase capabilities via cardholder and back‑office experiences. Role Identify and enhance critical moments and opportunities throughout product journeys to address customer needs and differentiate experiences. Craft engaging experiences that drive adoption through thoughtful and usable interaction, information design, and research. Ensure design concepts fully explore multiple options, and conduct appropriate research to determine the best solution. Employ prototypes to evaluate product, test assumptions, and communicate an experience with teams. Utilize hypothesis testing and research to drive decisions and influence stakeholders. Build partnerships and work closely with both Product Managers and Engineers. All About You Experienced designer who carefully considers how the customer will interact with the product, from overall journey level right down to the smallest details. Understand and have experience applying various user research methodologies. Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum) and Design Thinking methodologies. Strong collaborator, experienced in partnering with Product Management and Engineering. Understand and strive to achieve balance between business, technical, and user needs and know how to collaborate with a team to create solutions that meet each need. Strong awareness of common interaction patterns and know when and how to apply. Portfolio of work that demonstrates your process as well as showcasing completed design solutions. Previously worked on complex projects in large business settings. Critical thinker who strives for improvement with strong presentation skills and ability to influence. Corporate Security Responsibility Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices. Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed. Report any suspected information security violation or breach. Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
