Investment Banking Analyst, Technology Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 hours per week Line Of Business: TD Securities Pay: $100,000 - $110,000 CAD per year (base salary varies based on experience). Eligible for discretionary variable compensation award. Job Description: TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients. As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will work on integrated teams, generating ideas, advising clients and executing transactions in the technology sector. Responsibilities Research and analyze clients' financial situations, industry and market data, and M&A opportunities. Develop valuation models for private and public companies and merged entities. Apply valuation tools to assess opportunities and value private and public companies. Assist with client negotiations and documentation. Prepare external client proposals, internal underwriting memos and client presentations. Requirements Undergraduate degree with a demonstrated interest in finance. Strong financial and analytical skills. Excellent communication abilities. Adept at financial modeling and valuation. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior investment banking analyst experience. Technology industry experience (advantage). CA and/or CFA designation considered a strong asset.
