The Automation Tester is responsible for isolating, reproducing, tracking defects, and verifying fixes within software products. This role involves developing test data and procedures to ensure that software products meet organizational standards and end-user requirements. The Automation Tester is highly familiar with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies. The role requires decision-making on methods, tactics, and processes for administrative tasks and projects, while regularly exercising discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests. The individual will also interpret and adapt procedures and processes based on their previous experience and deep knowledge of administrative processes and organizational practices.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute test case automation using Selenium, C#, and Playwright.Use Postman to validate API capabilities.Isolate, reproduce, and track defects, ensuring they are addressed and verified for fixes.Collaborate with the development team to ensure software meets quality standards.Contribute to the improvement of system quality through continuous testing and feedback.Lead and manage an offshore team, including planning shift rotations and ensuring smooth operations across different time zones.Adapt testing and quality assurance processes based on evolving project needs.Occasionally work during EST night hours, with flexibility and compensation for daytime hours.Required Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience in developing test case automation using Selenium, C#, and Playwright.Proficient in using Postman for validating API functionalities.Proven track record in system quality improvement.Experience managing offshore teams and coordinating shift rotation planning.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.Ability to work independently with limited guidance due to a strong background in administrative processes and organizational knowledge.Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of Splunk and the ability to analyze/troubleshoot Splunk log files.Basic understanding of ForgeRock, including familiarity with FR trees, error logging, and error identification.Certifications:(No certifications listed, but relevant QA or testing certifications such as ISTQB would be a plus) #J-18808-Ljbffr
