The firm is committed to adding meaningful value to clients’ businesses through expertise, innovation, and exceptional client service.The Manager role within MRSB’s Accounting and Assurance Division offers a dynamic opportunity for a CPA professional to lead client engagements, mentor and develop teams, and contribute to business growth. This position provides exposure to a variety of industries and reporting frameworks, allowing the successful candidate to make a tangible impact on client success while advancing their own career.What you’ll be doing:Lead and execute client engagements under multiple reporting frameworks across diverse industries and sectors.Contribute to business development by representing MRSB and leveraging credibility in the accounting field.Maximize engagement profitability by managing and utilizing resources efficiently.Review corporate and personal income tax returns, compilations, and reviews with a focus on accuracy and value-added insights.Plan, lead, and supervise teams to ensure client expectations are exceeded while maintaining high-quality standards.Mentor and develop accounting staff through supervision, file reviews, and ongoing professional guidance.Actively contribute to the development and execution of the Firm’s annual business plan and growth initiatives.What we are looking for:CPA designation in good standing with 1–3 years of public accounting experience.Proficiency with CaseWare Working Papers, TaxPrep, Sage 50, and QuickBooks Online (QBO).Strong technical expertise in accounting and tax, with commitment to quality and professional development.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to earn trust and influence decision-makers.Proven management skills, including scheduling, organizing, supervising, and managing multiple teams.Self-motivated, results-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.At Venor and MRSB, we embrace a culture of belonging in the workplace.
