Job Overview Join the National Bank of Canada as a Senior Director, Business Transfer. In this strategic role, you will become the primary resource for supporting clients in transition projects, leveraging your expertise in mergers and acquisitions, business development, and financial solutions. The position reports to the Lead Credit Support and is based in Quebec City. Responsibilities Identify and develop business opportunities in your market. Support entrepreneurs in the transition of their business (to family, management, or external interests). Propose financial strategies tailored to merger and acquisition contexts. Adapt and optimize financial products based on evolving client needs. Develop sales and business development plans. Collaborate with the transfer team to achieve objectives. Identify risks inherent to the Personal and Business sector activities. Qualifications Between 4 and 8 years of experience in business development and sales in the financial sector, with the required academic background: University certificate + 8 years of experience Bachelor’s degree + 7 years of experience Master’s degree + 5 years of experience Experience in sales, financial statement analysis, commercial credit, mergers and acquisitions. Established network of contacts among local businesses. Experience in business valuation. CPA or CICBV designation (an asset).
