Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold Childcare Licensing Regulations, emphasizing academic and operational excellence.
  • Drive comprehensive learning experiences for children & parents.
  • Maintain compliance by actively engaging in classroom support.
  • Manage daily operations, events, registrations, and student layouts and meet/exceed school KPI targets. 
  • Train & support teachers.
  • Champion the CEFA brand and cultivate robust community ties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Early Learning / Education / Psychology / Administration / Communication degree holder/student coupled with ECE Level 3
  • Minimum two (2) years of hands-on experience as principal /vice-principal or director in daycare/preschool 
  • Proficient knowledge of the Alberta Early Learning and Childcare Act, regular compliance requirements and experience working with childcare licencing, subsidies and Alberta health.
  • Well-versed in health safety, food safety, and WCB norms.
  • Proven administrative expertise.
