Our Values (how we work – our core principles & commitments): We are mission-driven, collegial & collaborative, diverse & inclusive, and accountable & transparent Here’s the opportunity: Coordinator, Loan Portfolio Reporting to the Director, Loan Portfolio & Client Support, you will contribute towards an accurate and balanced loan portfolio. You will be a part of the Finance & Loans team and will assist with processing and documenting various loan-related transactions, while adhering to the appropriate internal targets. This existing role is a full-time, 7-month contract position based in Toronto, ON. The incumbent will be working on our hybrid work model requiring a minimum 2 days in the office. Please note that during the training period, additional in-office days may be required. What you will do: Maintain Integrity of the Loan Portfolio Prepare files for loan disbursements Ensure loan advancement by accurately uploading disbursement EFTsReverse and assign payments that return NSF (non-sufficient funds)Assist with processing loan payments as neededProgram loan restructure requests in the loans systemGenerate and upload monthly loan statements to client portalMonitor loans email inbox to respond to entrepreneur and/or internal inquiriesPrepare the yearly audit confirmation letters to the auditor and assist with the process as needed Review and Reconcile Loan Portfolio On a weekly basis, reconcile all loan transactions in the loans system and upload transactions to the Accounting system for month-endWork with the Finance team to resolve any discrepancies that come up during the reconciliation Run system reports periodically to ensure accuracy of loan portfolio Prepare Monthly/Quarterly Reports for Month-End & Quarter-End Collaborate with Finance and other teams to provide various Excel-based ad hoc reports using the data in the loans systemProvide support to Director, Finance and Chief Finance Officer relating to loan portfolio reportingAssist with monthly/quarterly reports relating to disbursements, write-offs, and restructures to inform the Finance and Loans team on how the portfolio is doing while monitoring any related trends Identify Process and System Improvements Suggest efficiencies related to workflow within the team Work with manager on loan system improvements and use feedback from team to identify gapsIdentify reporting needs and collaborate with vendor support team to implement updates as neededAd hoc duties as assigned by the manager to help support the Loans and Finance team What you will have: Relevant experience may include education with a focus in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent hands‑on career experience2 years' experience in loan portfolio or business administrationDetail‑oriented with strong attention to accuracyFull proficiency in Microsoft Office - Intermediate-level Excel skills, including dynamic spreadsheets and intermediate-level skills with other MS Office softwareDemonstrated experience in working with a client relationship management (CRM) systemDemonstrated experience in supporting internal and external client needsProven success working proactively both independently and as part of a teamTrack record of contributing ideas and implementing process improvementsDemonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environmentAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment, responding to multiple queries and deadlines simultaneouslyExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsBilingualism in French & English (spoken & written) is an assetClear and confident communicator, skilled at engaging and connecting with diverse audiences.Collaborative and adaptable team player, bringing a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.Strong organizational skills, able to balance multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic hybrid work environment.Demonstrate curiosity and a growth mindset, embracing and championing changeAlignment with Futurpreneur’s values and commitment to the mission/purpose of the organizationBe a role model for Futurpreneur’s organizational culture by creating a positive impact at every touchpoint with people HOW TO APPLY Qualified candidates are invited to submit their resume, cover letter and salary expectations by December 3, 2025.
