(GDI) is a Montréal-based, public company of integrated omni-channel brands, designing and distributing accessible, trend-forward fashion for women since 1975.Our mission of "Empowering YOU to be YOU, one outfit at a time" is brought to life through the GARAGE and DYNAMITE banners and represents the consumer‑centric core of GDI's long‑standing success as a leading retailer in North America.Today, GDI operates nearly 300 stores across Canada and the United States, as well as shoppable brand experiences at Garageclothing.com and Dynamiteclothing.com.Job SummaryThe Construction team is looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for managing and planning all phases of the operations and development of store construction throughout Canada and the USA.You will be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick & mortar retailer to an omni‑channel leader and tech‑first fashion disruptor.Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure appropriate planning of projects according to certified methods in proactive and structured management.Effectively manage the implementation schedule to obtain results that will be in compliance with quality standards, time frames and established budgets.Develop and update the various implementation schedules for each construction project.Prepare budget forecasts for each construction project.Prepare and issue purchase orders to suppliers.Follow‑up on construction progress with contractors and suppliers, including construction deficiencies.QualificationsDEC in architecture or interior design is considered an asset.Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management.Ability to read and understand architectural, mechanical, electrical and other plans.Ability to effectively assess and monitor construction budgets.Possess strong organizational skills including time management, work planning and coordinating.Possess excellent communication skills (French and English).Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project.Available to travel across Canada and the USA.Experience in retail construction is an asset.BenefitsA comprehensive compensation package that includes performance‑driven bonuses;A group retirement savings program with employer matching;Flexible group insurance with personalized coverage that meets your needs;An employee discount at Garage and Dynamite;Exclusive private sample sales;A flexible vacation policy;And moreOur promiseNo day will be like the last‑we aim to be better today than we were yesterday.
