OverviewPosition Title: Faculty (On-Call Pool), Marine EngineeringBCIT’s School of Transportation is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Faculty, Marine Engineering to instruct/facilitate Ship Construction, Naval Architecture, Drafting, Engineering Knowledge, Electrotechnology/High Voltage, Automation and Control, Applied Engineering Sciences and workshop courses. The ideal candidate will bring industry experience into the classroom, develop course and program curriculum, address relevant operational and educational issues, and cultivate positive relationships with students.BCIT is one of Canada’s largest post-secondary institutes, with more than 45,000 students enrolled in certificate, diploma, apprenticeship and degree programs. The Marine Campus, located in North Vancouver, is a premier provider of marine training in Canada.
