We encourage all team members to ‘spread their roots’.Nature & Scope:Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for creating and maintaining the Roots experience for customers and employees. The ASM supports the Store Manager in all store operations, consistently modeling and acting in accordance with Roots' guiding principles and beliefs.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets by executing company standards, policies, and procedures while providing excellent customer service.Lead by example in sales and customer service.Support recruitment activities.Provide product knowledge and selling skills training to staff.Execute opening and closing procedures per company policies.Interpersonal Skills:Motivate the team through coaching and leadership.Manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 2 years management experience, preferably in retail apparel.Strong sense of style and passion for fashion.Proven ability to thrive in a customer service-driven environment focused on sales.Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.Additional Details:Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Sales and Business DevelopmentIndustry: Retail Apparel and FashionReferrals can increase your chances of interviewing at Roots by 2x.Sign in to set job alerts for “Assistant Store Manager” roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
