Job Summary Euro Architectural Components, a Richelieu Division, seeks a Team Player who can step into a Leader’s role as Inventory Controller. The position involves monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure optimal stock levels, efficient operations, and minimal discrepancies. This role requires about 50% of the time working in a warehouse setting and 50% in an office environment. Location 127A Aviva Park Drive, Vaughan, ON. Key Responsibilities Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or errors promptly. Update and maintain accurate inventory data in inventory management systems. Prepare in advance to allocate space in the warehouse for incoming shipments. Coordinate with the purchasing team concerning defective and damaged materials upon receipt from suppliers. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, slow‑moving items, and opportunities for optimization. Generate inventory reports to restock primary bin locations. Implement and maintain inventory control policies and procedures. Support audits and compliance checks related to inventory. Supervise and train inventory staff to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management. Assist in cycle counting and year‑end stock audits. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, following safety and compliance standards. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. At least 5 years of experience in an inventory management or related role, with a proven track record of achieving performance targets. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, a focus on achieving results and meeting deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Stock picker license is an asset. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially in VLOOKUP and Pivot tables. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
