Qualifications and Competencies Graduate diploma or Masters in Art Therapy/ Play Therapy/ Expressive Art Therapy or similar Able to provide psychotherapy in Ontario, i.e. Registration with College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the College of Psychologists of Ontario, and the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Registration with the appropriate association if applicable (CATA, OATA, etc) Knowledge in working with Neuro‑diverse population and those who have experienced trauma Preference for those specializing in: Family Therapy, Couples Therapy, custody and high conflict divorce, group therapy, IFS, guided drawing, working with victims of violence, MVA, anger management, Sandtray therapy Experience working independently and collaboratively with inter-professional teams Strong communication and leadership skills Independence and ability to make decisions effectively mitigating risks is required Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, and visitors Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sectors and CPR required Candidates eligible to work in Canada ONLY Reviewing candidates with all levels of experience Please note: This is a contract position with 50% split reimbursement and will require at least a 3 year commitment.
