Pay Rate: $24Job Type: ContractLocation: Halifax NSOur client, a top banking institution in Canada, is seeking to hire a Customer Service Professional - Bilingual II for a 6-month contract with potential extension or permanent placement. This role is hybrid, with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the primary location in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and secondary location in Montreal, Quebec.Candidate Value PropositionThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting members during critical moments in their lives.Typical Day in RoleAs a Customer Service Specialist, you will handle all aspects of customer service, including answering calls and following up on group insurance files. You will serve internal and external clients with varying levels of complexity, requiring excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.- Demonstrate passion for customer service and dedication to meeting client needs by providing prompt, accurate responses about products and services.- Manage approximately 50 calls per day in an inbound call centre environment.Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:Fully bilingual in French and English (read, write, speak)2-4 years of customer service experience in information centers, retail, or service sectorsProficient with Microsoft Suite (Teams, Outlook, etc.)Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced, changing environmentContinuous learner, eager to discover new applications and stay updatedTechnical aptitude with excellent research skills and meticulousnessNice-To-Have Skills:Experience with SalesforceBackground in Group BenefitsExperience in contact centres, insurance, or group benefitsEducation:High School Diploma requiredUniversity or College degree is an asset but not mandatoryIf interested, please send your updated resume in MS Word format to fouzan@ifgpr.com with the subject line "Customer Service Professional - Bilingual II".
