Regional Sales Manager

CUES is the world’s leading developer of water, wastewater, and storm water inspection equipment. Job Summary As the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will be responsible for developing and implementing the CUES sales strategy for all direct and dealer/distributor channels in the assigned market area. This includes planning, coordination, and strategy for all CUES business within the assigned geography, market, channel, and accounts, as well as hiring, training, and motivating sales personnel to achieve assigned goals. Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategy, including promotional programs, pricing policies, sales tools, and sales processes. Define and optimize the sales process, training, and tools. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Lead and coach regional sales team, external sales reps, dealers and distributors, providing clear targets, ongoing coaching, and fostering a collaborative culture. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, address concerns promptly, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions. Evaluate dealer/distributor network and sales organization to improve alignment and sales outcomes. Lead market analysis, gathering current information on market conditions, customer profiles, and competitive activities. Develop and manage the regional sales budget, monitor expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Partner with Product Management and Marketing for go‑to‑market strategies and value selling tools. Qualifications 5 years of outside sales experience in a municipal and/or contractor environment within a capital equipment industry. 5 years of experience leading a sales team. Preferred: 10 years of outside sales experience. Experience defining and implementing a structured sales process. Experience using CRM and driving sales team/user adoption. Effective leader with proven ability to develop, coach, and mentor employees. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Master’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred. Requires 50–60% travel by airplane or automobile. Benefits Competitive and performance‑based compensation packages and bonus plans.
