Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Team Lead will provide leadership and oversight of mechanical engineering activities, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and reliability. In this essential role, the incumbent will collaborate closely with project managers, customers, and engineering teams to manage project scope, schedules, and budgets, driving successful outcomes that align with Eclipse’s standards and goals.What You’ll Be DoingLead and coordinate mechanical engineering design activities, ensuring high standards in quality, reliability, and safetyServe as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, updating project milestones and progress regularlyMentor and train team members, fostering collaboration and a positive work environmentConduct risk assessments and support health, safety, and environmental initiatives throughout the project lifecycleOversee project execution to meet scope, budget, and schedule, coordinating with various departments to ensure on-time deliveryDrive continuous improvement by recommending process and technology enhancements to boost efficiencyUphold the highest ethical standards in all business activities, ensuring full compliance with Eclipse\'s Code of ConductWhat We’re Looking ForAn educational background in Engineering or a related discipline7+ years of experience in the custom automation industryStrong communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate teams and manage multiple projectsThe ability to address issues proactively, make decisions under pressure, and uphold high ethical standardsSolid expertise with SolidWorks and MS Office, plus experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controlsWhat We OfferReimbursement for tuition and professional duesThree weeks of vacation and three paid personal days (to start)RRSP matching programFree snack programWhy Join UsHere at Eclipse Automation, creation and innovation are at our core, and our culture reflects that.
