Work setting Willing to relocate Private practice Responsibilities Tasks Clean teeth Examine patients' teeth, gums and surrounding tissue Hire and train staff Instruct patients on oral hygiene Restore, extract and replace diseased and decayed teeth Perform oral surgery, periodontal surgery and other treatments Design bridgework, fit dentures and provide appliances Write fabrication instructions or prescriptions for use by denturists and dental technicians Act as consultants to other dentists Supervision 3-4 people Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities National Dental Examining Board of Canada Certification Experience and specialization Specialization or experience Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Child Abuse Registry check Adult Abuse Registry check Work conditions and physical capabilities Hand-eye co-ordination Combination of sitting, standing, walking Fast-paced environment Walking Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, kneeling Ability to distinguish between colours Work under pressure Physically demanding Own tools/equipment Personal suitability Efficient interpersonal skills Disability benefits As per collective agreement Long term benefits Maternity and parental benefits Other benefits Free parking available Who can apply for this job?
