Systems Integrator III

The OpportunityThe Systems Integrator III is responsible for programming and commissioning control systems that bring together multiple sub-systems to meet the operational and regulatory needs of the owner.The Systems Integrator III will be able to develop and implement logic for assigned project tasks. Requirements including client and contractor coordination, logic development & testing, are all day-to-day responsibilities. The Systems Integrator III will ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget. The Systems Integrator III will be coached/mentored by more experienced staff and reports to a Technical Manager or Engineering Supervisor in the department.What You'll DoEngage with clients in the Renewable Energy industryPLC/HMI/SCADA program development and testingCreation of technical documentation (control logic, test procedures, user manuals, etc.)PLC programming with one or more of the following platforms:Allen BradleySchneiderSEL RTACHMI/SCADA programming with one or more of the following platforms:IgnitionWonderwareKepware/TopserverOn-site commissioning and start-upTake ownership of personal and project qualityMaintains positive client relationships, responsive both internally and externally, in-frequent client interactionResponsible for completing tasks in allotted timeWhat We Expect from YouTwo year technical degree4-7 years years Industrial Control System, Integration of Robotics Systems, or programming experience in a related fieldRenewable energy industry exposure – Wind, PV, BESSDemonstrated proficiency and working knowledge of communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architecturesEffectively uses common, discipline-specific software and helps others use it as wellAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines by setting prioritiesDemonstrates excellent verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management and clientsGains knowledge by attending technical training sessions or conferences and shares knowledge through technical reports or presenting interesting, relevant topics to the teamAble to read and create engineering design drawings, including communication diagrams, logic diagrams, and network schematicsProven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SQL, Access)Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skillsWilling to travel 25-35% of the timeMust be legally entitled to work in CanadaMust possess a valid Canadian Driver’s License and ability to meet company driving standardsMust have the ability to travel across the United States and CanadaWhat You Can Expect from UlteigUlteig is a purpose driven organization that has built a culture focused on people – both our clients and our employees –for over 80 years.
