We strive to attract and retain dedicated talents who have the desire to widen their horizon and make a positive impact with their work.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to :Lead an integrated team of electrical engineers, designers and drafters for small to medium sized projects for various clientsAssign resources to prepare deliverables including, but not limited to single line drawings, area classifications drawings, cable tray layouts, panel layouts, cable / panel schedules, JB wiring diagramsEHT isometrics, electrical load lists specifications / datasheets for electrical equipment, RFQs / POs for electrical equipment and materials, etc.Tracking the progress of engineering deliverables and communicating regularly with the Program Engineering Manager;coping and man-hour estimating for new projects.Take responsibility for the quality of all deliverables produced by the electrical teamManpower planning for the electrical teamRequirements20 years or more of accomplished experience in facilities engineering and design in the oil & gas industry with preference given to experience in thermal heavy oilBachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and registered as a professional engineer in Alberta is a mustProven Experience leading a team of at least 6 engineers / designersExperience in leading and developing a team is essentialThis is a key leadership position and strategic managerial skills & experience is a mustWork experience across Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls is considered an assetExperience with thermal heavy oil production projects is an assetWhat we offerAt Firebag Technical Solutions we believe people who contribute to our success should be rewarded for the value they create.There are many benefits a career with us can lead to :A competitive compensation packageFull benefits programA safe, healthy and enjoyable work-life balance cultureAn environment of positive career growth and opportunitiesOpportunity to contribute to a highly successful and dynamic teamOpportunities to travel and work across the world #J-18808-Ljbffr
