Travel Nurse Practitioner — Bayshore HealthCare Join us as a Travel Nurse Practitioner, providing high-quality community health care solutions in Canada's North. Bayshore HealthCare’s Northern Staffing program has delivered primary and emergency care to diverse Indigenous communities since 1997. Our Healthcare Professionals work closely with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities, traveling to remote northern communities of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. Assignments average four weeks and can be extended. The Work You Will Do Work in a team atmosphere providing expanded scope of practice in communities—from newborn to elders—in a clinic atmosphere. Utilize skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan. Conduct health promotion, assessments, planning, and implementation of care using Best Practice Clinical Practice Guidelines; primary and emergency care; travel nursing; experience creating care plans; IPAC and communicable disease control, immunizations. Ensure the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within scope of practice. Why Bayshore? Who You Are You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license in good standing. You are licensed as a Nurse registered in good standing. You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the provinces or territories you wish to work. You meet the required work experience.
