Senior Project Manager – Overview We are seeking an expert Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 7 years post‑graduate experience looking for a next step or already in a similar role. The position requires full on‑site presence, 4 to 5 days a week. Responsibilities Assist the design and construction process, including submittal and RFI process and work with the City on processing Site Applications and all required Permitting Transcribe meeting minutes and action items and drive each item to closure Ensure project compliance with client’s document controls and file specifications Administer project closeout specifications and associated turnover documentation Collaborate and coordinate with internal resources and design‑build contractors Manage submittal approval Implement, monitor and seek approval for all Change Management documentation Process RFIs Manage change orders Coordinate meetings Manage punch‑list Administer project observation reports Participate in commissioning Transition close‑out documentation to operations Establish and manage all project budgets and schedules throughout the project duration Manage requirements to deal with all other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (City, MOE, MOL, TSSA, etc.) and comply with all required code demands Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a similar field PMP certification that allows you to work on projects from initiation to closeout and completion Ability to manage staff, client and all team members effectively Experience with all related construction contracts (e.g., CCDC‑2, CCDC‑3, CCDC‑5A and 5B) Understanding of all building and construction code requirements to manage the construction of the project Ability to negotiate with consultants and contractors contractually and administratively as the project progresses Experience as owner’s representative and trusted advisor is an asset Ground‑up construction experience Schedule management experience is an asset Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project or P6 Excellent communication skills with various stakeholders Additional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
