Responsibilities As a senior defensive security advisor, you help identify, analyze, eradicate and mitigate threats to Desjardins's systems, networks and applications. You analyze security incidents, determine their scope, impact and origin, collect data from defence tools, perform ongoing monitoring and interpret, analyze and report all events and anomalies in accordance with guidelines. You carry out risk assessments and tests to analyze vulnerabilities and develop and recommend mitigation measures to strengthen Desjardins's security posture. You lead practitioners on development projects and complex, strategic initiatives for vulnerability detection and information system protection. More specifically, you will be required to: Lead large‑scale development projects, initiatives and activities in your specialty area that have a significant knock‑on effect on the entire organization. Advise your clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, select solutions for, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives under your responsibility. Develop and update policies, standards, models, methodologies, tools and programs to support your unit's strategic projects and initiatives. Conduct strategic monitoring in your area of expertise to identify emerging security issues. Identify and analyze major issues, diagnose them and make recommendations to decision‑making bodies. Represent Desjardins when making agreements with external partners and organizations.
