Regional Director, Talent Experience (Finance & Accounting) at Randstad Canada | Driving Equity, Inclusion & Impact CA$120,000.00/yr - CA$130,000.00/yr Advantages Excellent base salary and generous annual bonus Comprehensive health and dental program RRSP match program Hybrid working arrangement – 3 days in office Responsibilities Lead the Accounting Team: Supervise the Assistant Controller and Manager of Accounting, overseeing all accounting cycle activities, including monthly journal entries, accruals, GL closing, and balance sheet reconciliations. Talent Development: Coach and provide timely, constructive feedback to direct reports, fostering continual growth and learning. Internal Controls & Compliance: Own the reliability of internal controls over financial processes and ensure consistent execution of all financial and accounting policies under IFRS. Financial Reporting Integrity: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with clear narratives for management, ensuring accuracy under IFRS standards. Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning and ongoing business decisions; lead the preparation of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts across all functions. Performance Analysis: Lead monthly analysis of actuals versus budget and prior years, including detailed P&L statement analysis focused on gross profit and data‑driven recommendations for productivity and cost containment. Treasury & Tax Management: Manage cash, oversee inter‑company transfers and reconciliations, and ensure timely tax filings and remittances across multiple jurisdictions. Qualifications 8+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, ideally within a public company environment. At least 5+ years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required). MBA is a bonus. CPA designation is required. Advanced expertise in IFRS, tax legislation, internal controls, and financial reporting processes. Influential leader with a collaborative management style, strong initiative, and the ability to thrive independently. Flexible, easy to get along with, and able to motivate others while fostering continuous learning. Industry experience in distribution (beneficial) and familiarity with AS/400, Blackline, and Hyperion Financial Management (highly desirable). #J-18808-Ljbffr
