Join to apply for the QA Analyst role at Alithya. We are looking for a QA Analyst to fill this position. Responsibilities Participate in planning and writing the test strategy, and ensure the design and execution of tests Work closely with the project team to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios/cases Ensure the execution of functional and non-functional tests across the entire testing chain (unit tests, integration tests, system tests, user acceptance tests) Help optimize testing by contributing to the reduction of issues/bugs related to the initiative, thereby preventing production failures Validate the quality of the solution by being mindful of all activities impacting test success and assessing associated risks Facilitate the adoption of specialized tools for automated testing Develop automated test scripts Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA methodology and best practices Work with business and functional analysts as well as the product owner to ensure good test coverage Design the test strategy, test plans, and test scenarios (both automated and manual) Maintain and evolve manual and automated test scripts and suites Perform QA and testing activities related to new projects and application enhancements Document and execute test cases Certify system test compliance and solution quality, and provide recommendations regarding the production deployment of technology solutions Contribute to production deployment according to quality standards to ensure system performance Document bugs and participate in their management process Provide quick support during emergency interventions Identify, communicate, and manage potential risks and impacts Qualifications & Key Success Factors Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another relevant field Minimum 24 months of experience Language Skills French: Proficient Details Company name: Alithya Canada Address: 400-700 René-Lévesque Boulevard West, Montreal, QC, H3B 1X8 Employment conditions: Permanent Salary: $85,000 to $95,000 Work location: 400-700 René-Lévesque Blvd West, Montreal, QC, H3B 1X8, Canada, Client Sites, Remote Contact information: melissa.aitken@alithya.com Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Quality Assurance Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Benefits Unlimited vacation plan and flexible work options 24/7 virtual healthcare and extensive wellness portal Access to top‑rated online courses, certifications, tuition reimbursement, and exclusive leadership programs Employee Share Purchase Plan with matched contributions Inclusivity and diversity culture with supportive environment for growth and belonging Our mission, your future: As a global network of trusted advisors, we create cutting‑edge technological solutions to overcome today’s challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s needs.
