Field Aerospace, a premier aircraft modification and integration specialist, is seeking a brilliant Senior Contracts Specialist to lead contract and subcontract management processes for assigned aerospace programs. How You Will Make An Impact Support and/or lead the contracts lifecycle management process for assigned programs. Review and analyze submitted documents for accuracy, compliance and alignment with the organization’s policies and procedures. Manage deadlines associated with all assigned projects and follow up as necessary to ensure timely completion. Close reviews, following closing procedure to ensure tracking of fully executed records. Essential Job Functions Draft and structure contracts/subcontracts and related documents and modifications thereof. Negotiate contract/subcontract agreements including Non‑Disclosure, Teaming Agreements, and Commercial and Government prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders, tailoring terms and conditions as required. Support proposal process by reviewing major customer requests for proposal via a compliance matrix tool, coordinating with appropriate departments. Advise management and program team of contractual rights and obligations in accordance with contract terms and other government regulations; identify and mitigate associated risk. Research contracting/subcontracting matters and provide sound business advice and counsel to internal management and functional departments. Review and submit/receive contract/subcontract deliverables and requirements to ensure adherence to contract requirements. Interact routinely with senior internal and external personnel. Assist and/or lead in activities related to export control and related compliance measures. Work directly with internal Field Aviation departments on a day‑to‑day basis (Program Management, HR, Operations, Engineering, Finance) to ensure that financial milestones and billings are met and processed as per applicable contractual agreements. Assist the Vice President and Senior Management with special projects, as applicable. Travel in support of the company’s Business Development/Sales campaigns, negotiations and program review meetings worldwide. Skills and Experience Minimum of ten (10) years of contract/subcontract management experience in aviation / aerospace / manufacturing industries. Experience working with large government and commercial contracts. Experience working with Canadian and International Government terms and conditions (e.g., Canadian SACC and US FAR/DFARS). LLB or MBA preferred. Reports To Vice President, Contracts. Other Key Requirements Applicants must be eligible for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance and secure other Canadian PWGSC security clearances as required.
