Our global network includes facilities in Canada, the United States, Hungary and Switzerland, ensuring regional expertise and global strength.The PositionThe Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate financial reports in accordance with local generally accepted accounting principles and Eclipse corporate policies; development of business plans and budgets; monitoring and analyzing financial metrics so profitability goals are achieved; and maintenance of a comprehensive set of internal controls, while delivering the Eclipse Vision and Entrepreneurial Culture.What You’ll Be DoingParticipate in the preparation of the annual budget and regular updates throughout the yearMonitor expenditures to budget and report discrepanciesAudit and verify accuracy of general ledger coding as it pertains to budget allocationInput and process wire payments, online bill payments, EFT payments and, account transfersSupport month end and year end closing activities including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and working papersImplement and monitor cross functional business policies, procedures and internal controls while making recommendations for continuous improvementSupport the timely completion of external and internal auditsProvide backup Payroll support while maintaining compliance with legislationProvide support and guidance to more junior team membersLiaise with other Eclipse business units to provide support and share best practicesAssist the Accounting team with other duties as requiredWhat We’re Looking ForBusiness Diploma/Degree specializing in Accounting or equivalent experienceChartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) designation or relative designations or certifications5+ years professional experience in an Accounting departmentExperience in automation industry or project accounting environmentPrevious experience with Sage 50 and/or EpicorWhat We OfferReimbursement for tuition and professional duesThree weeks of vacation and three paid personal days (to start)RRSP matching programFree snack programWhy Join UsHere at Eclipse Automation, creation and innovation are at our core, and our culture reflects that.
