In this role as a temporary, part-time Lead Hand - Customer Relations Representative, you will be the go to expert for customer service, stepping up when supervisors are away. You will handle everything from selling memberships and program registrations to managing facility bookings and answering questions about events, all with a friendly smile and a can do attitude. You will also take charge of daily cash handling, keep accurate records, and resolve more complex customer concerns with tact and professionalism. Plus, you will help train and support your teammates, making sure the Customer Relations Representative team is always on point. Work is mostly indoors, with a focus on teamwork, safety, and making every visitor feel welcome. If you are organized, courteous, and enjoy a fast paced, customer focused environment, this role is perfect for you The successful candidate must have the following qualifications: Completion of senior secondary school or its equivalent. Proficient in basic Word and basic Excel as demonstrated through testing. (70% pass rate required) Minimum one year’s previous customer service and cash-handling experience as a Customer Service Representative. For new hires, and for those working in designated positions of trust, including those working directly with vulnerable persons, no formal offer of employment will be made until an applicant completes a police information check. A comprehensive benefits package is included with this position. This is a CUPE Local 900 position.
