OverviewTechnical Account Executive (Clearpath Robotics) role at Rockwell Automation. Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on helping manufacturers be more productive, sustainable, and agile. The Research Systems team is seeking a well-organized, relationship-oriented Technical Account Executive with proven skills across account functions including business development, direct technical sales, and account management. You will report to the Sales Manager and work Hybrid in Waterloo, ON.Primary ResponsibilitiesReview client projects and applications, and help with the scoping and configuration of application-appropriate robotic solutions for customers, independently and in collaboration with our team of EngineersGains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating product features and softwareSubmits orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changesProvide company, product, and technical overview presentationsProvide pre-sales quotes to customersCheck purchase orders for accuracy against the quote or standards before processingProvide technical assistance to the customers - answering technical queries and perform research when answers are not immediately availableExecute outreach campaigns and secure net new businessPromote and sell Clearpath as a full-service robotic solutions providerMaintain a high level of knowledge of new technology and our solution offeringsContribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressedThe Essentials - You Will HaveBachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work ExperienceLegal authorization to work in Canada is required.
