It builds on the material covered in MGTA01H3.Course Enrolment (est.): 300DutiesDesign and teach a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content.Develop, administer, and mark assignments, tests, and exams; calculate and submit grades; maintain regular office hours; and be reasonably available for student and administrative contact.Supervision of Teaching Assistants assigned to the course.QualificationsMinimum qualifications: Superior teaching ability with suitable academic and/or professional qualifications (Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidacy in economics) and mastery of the subject matter. Demonstrated teaching excellence in the subject matter through previous experience teaching this or similar courses; ability to engage diverse learners; strong organizational and communication skills; experience with learning technologies and online teaching platforms.Preferred qualifications: Additional experience applying the subject matter in practical environments; academic record of recent research including peer-reviewed publications.CompensationSalary for a half-course (0.50 FCEs) inclusive of vacation pay: Sessional Lecturer I rate of pay: $9,820.70; Sessional Lecturer I-Long Term: $10,510.04; Sessional Lecturer II: $10,510.04; Sessional Lecturer II-Long Term: $10,760.28; Sessional Lecturer III: $10,760.28; Sessional Lecturer III-Long Term: $11,030.36.Application InstructionsAll applicants who wish to be considered for a particular position must submit an application form, updated curriculum vitae (including a valid email address) and applicable teaching evaluations (if available) online.
