Our client is a global technology leader operating at the intersection of security, innovation, and digital transformation. They are seeking a Head of Artificial Intelligence to lead their enterprise-wide AI strategy and transformation. The Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to build and scale a global AI function from the ground up, driving strategy, infrastructure, and applied innovation across a complex and dynamic multinational environment. The successful candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic vision and a strong product mindset to accelerate AI-driven impact across diverse business lines. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision:Define and execute the global AI strategy in alignment with corporate transformation priorities.Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on AI capabilities, trends, and innovation opportunities.Build a forward-looking AI roadmap that drives measurable enterprise value. AI Product Development & Delivery:Identify and prioritize high-impact AI and GenAI use cases across multiple business units.Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure AI/ML and GenAI solutions.Champion a product-oriented approach to AI delivery, balancing innovation, reliability, and ROI. Platform & Infrastructure Enablement:Partner with global IT and data teams to establish a robust AI/ML infrastructure, including MLOps and GenAI tooling.Drive standardization, reusability, and automation across AI initiatives to maximize efficiency and scalability. Governance, Ethics & Compliance:Implement best practices for responsible AI, model monitoring, and regulatory compliance.Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and ethical standards across global operations. Leadership & Team Building:Build and lead a world-class AI organization encompassing Data Science, ML Engineering, Product Management, and Architecture.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.Mentor and develop top talent while promoting diversity and inclusion. About you 10+ years of progressive experience in AI/ML, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles driving enterprise-scale initiatives. Proven success in building and scaling AI products and platforms in complex, global organizations. Expertise in modern AI technologies (LLMs, Generative AI, RAG pipelines, vector databases, MLOps). Strong understanding of cloud-native and hybrid architectures, data platforms, and DevOps practices. Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, builder mindset and exceptional communication skills. Experience in regulated sectors (e.g., financial, identity, or security technology) preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree an asset.
