OverviewIn this position you will bring your programs knowledge and naturally curious attitude to provide best in class service to a portfolio of Broker partners while adhering to Unica’s targets. The position will require your strong attention to detail and organization skills; with an ability to prioritize and successfully manage your accountabilities within a fast paced and high-volume environment.What We OfferAward winning cultureFlexible hybrid working conditions (1 day in the office per week)Group Benefits from first dayDefined Benefits pension planGenerous time off benefitsGrowth opportunitiesSummary Of Role & ResponsibilitiesNegotiate terms on new and existing programsRecommend innovative solutionsParticipate in broker visits, insurance industry functions and marketing events in support of broker relationship developmentProvide technical advice, recommendations, and mentoring to team membersWork in collaboration with other internal departments including but not limited to actuary, risk control, claims, marketing, business development, and legalOversee the maintenance of programs (renewals, endorsements, etc.)Research current trends in the industry pertaining to new and existing programsEducation and ExperienceUniversity / College degreeObtained or working towards CIP designationCRM, FCIP is an assetMinimum 3 years of Commercial underwriting experience, commercial programs experience is preferredIn-depth technical knowledge and experience working in both property / casualty and automobile linesExceptional knowledge of underwriting principles, concepts and methodologies in a commercial environmentExtensive knowledge of commercial rates and pricing to effectively underwrite and attract target businessInterested in a career in a company where collaboration and diversity of expertise are at the forefront?
