We can also offer benefits to Canadian applicants.ResponsibilitiesImplementing design specifications into engaging game functionalityTake ownership of code implementation for exciting game featuresFollow best practices in documentation and version controlExperiment with rapid prototyping and concept testingConduct and participate in constructive code reviewsDebug and fix issues to ensure a smooth gameplay experienceActively contribute to improving the development pipelineWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeShare your knowledge and mentor junior developersCollaborate on the game design processQualifications5+ years experienceA degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field, or equivalent work experienceA strong portfolio showcasing your previous projectsExperience with shipping gamesProficiency in UnityExperience working on physics-based gamesFamiliarity with game assets (meshes, animations, materials, etc.)Knowledge of networked multiplayer implementation (i.e. PlayFab)Expertise in profiling and optimizing game and render performance (GPU and CPU)Proficiency with Git version control in a multi-developer team settingExperience with VR/AR is a plus but not requiredFamiliarity with Unity’s ECS/DOTS is a bonusExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlinesOur Flagship Game: Fruit GolfYou grip your club, a beautiful sunflower putter, and take a breath. Then by using a free companion app for smartphones or tablets, everyone else gets to work dropping goofy obstacles like salt and pepper shakers, explosive barrels, and that blasted bouncy shark.
