Work Truck Up-fitting/Assembly Full time day for experienced assemblers in our truck body division. Final Assembly Technician Responsibilities Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures Determine the appropriate tooling based on job requirements Assemble truck bodies and parts post paint (install locks, hardware, lighting) Mounting truck body to truck chassis Wiring for 12-volt electrical systems installation of hydraulic systems (PTO’s, pumps, compressors) Test and inspect assembled product(s) to discover flaws Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Job Requirements Proven experience Experience using a variety of hand tools Experience in using electrical or manual tools (drills, tape measure, screw drivers sockets) knowledge of 12-volt electrical systems Knowledge of hydraulic systems (PTO’s, pumps, compressors) Operate air powered hand tools (screw guns, ratchets, drills etc) Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.) Deftness and attention to detail Proficient in English Mechanically inclined Education Certificate or courses in Automotive Technician/Mechanic a plus Benefit Package Includes Health Dental Prescription drugs Long term disability paid vacation days Opportunities Overtime Continuous Education/Training Job growth Job Type Full-time Pay rate Pending experience Benefits Casual dress Company events Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care On-site parkingTuition reimbursement Vision care Schedule 8-hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Job Category Production Job Status Full Time Job Location Milton Job Wage hourly Job Pay Rate $21-$26 #J-18808-Ljbffr
