Job Description

As the voice of TD, you’ll be passionate about understanding our customers and providing each caller with the right solutions for their unique insurance needs. You will deliver legendary customer service through value‑based advice conversations, whether assisting inbound callers with the purchase of their first home or vehicle or handling complex inquiries on existing policies.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service by deepening relations through value‑based advice conversations and knowledge of TD products, services and solutions. Resolve customer inquiries at the first point of contact by asking questions and responding with empathy. Consistently reach performance objectives, including customer experience survey results, advice and quality goals, compliance regulations, and productivity targets. Actively participate in ongoing training and coaching to continue learning and developing in your role.

Where You'll Work After completing in‑person training and onboarding, the role operates in a hybrid workplace model. You are expected to work from a TD premise at least four days a week, with flexibility to work from a secure private home office on other days that meet minimum system requirements. What You Need To Succeed Post‑secondary education and/or relevant experience. Availability to work Monday‑Friday 8 AM‑8 PM and Saturdays 9 AM‑4 PM.

Exceptional listening skills and a curiosity to help customers meet their needs through value‑based advice conversations. Ability to multitask and navigate computer systems, applications, and multiple screens with speed and accuracy while balancing performance metrics. Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, headsets, etc.). Flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude when responding to challenging situations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Integrity when managing sensitive customer information in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Effective verbal and written communication skills. General Insurance (e.g., Other Than Life for Ontario) experience or license in your home province is an asset.

Fully bilingual in French and English. Two or more years of customer service, call‑center, and sales experience is an asset. Hybrid 4 days on site. Training & Onboarding In‑person training and onboarding sessions will be hosted at 43 Champlain Street Insurance, Dieppe, New Brunswick for 11 weeks. Commitment to licensing, systems, and procedures is required.
