At Clearpath Robotics by Rockwell Automation, Research Systems team is looking for a well organized, relationship‑oriented Technical Account Executive with proven skills across all account functions: business development, direct technical sales, and account management. You will report to the Sales Manager and work hybrid in Waterloo, ON. Primary Responsibilities Review client projects and applications, and help with the scoping & configuration of application‑appropriate robotic solutions for customers, independently and in collaboration with our team of Engineers Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating product features and software Submit orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes Provide company, product, and technical overview presentations Provide pre‑sales quotes to customers Check purchase orders for accuracy against the quote or standards before processing; provide technical assistance to the customers – answering technical queries and performing research when answers are not immediately available Execute outreach campaigns and secure net new business Promote and sell Clearpath as a full‑service robotic solutions provider Maintain a high level of knowledge of new technology and our solution offerings Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short‑term and long‑range issues that must be addressed Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience Legal authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship for employment visas) Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel Preferred Qualifications University degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) 2+ years of relevant industry experience in a variety of technical roles including Applications Engineering, Project/Program Management, and Technical Sales Experience with CRM products such as Salesforce.com Ability to deliver compelling presentations to prospects, customers, and partners Benefits Health Insurance including Medical and Dental Health Care Spending Account (HCSA – dependent on the plan chosen) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Retirement plans Paid Time off Volunteering Time off Employer Savings Plan Matching (includes RRSP, TFSA, and EPSP) Employer Paid DC Pension Maternity and Parental Leave Top‑Up Fitness Reimbursement Program Flexible Work Schedule that can be tailored with your manager to fit your personal life We are an Equal Opportunity Employer including disability and veterans.
