Position Overview As a Tax Advisor on the National Member Onboarding team, you will play a key role in welcoming new members and setting the stage for their long‑term success. This role combines the expertise of a tax professional with the relationship‑focused responsibilities of client onboarding. You will collaborate with internal teams and FBC Members to understand their financial situation, review historical data, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience. You will be responsible for guiding FBC Members through the onboarding process, ensuring their information is accurate, their accounts are properly set up, and they are introduced to our full range of services, including bookkeeping, payroll, legal assistance, and financial and estate planning support. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional tax and bookkeeping advice to Members Conduct new Member reviews of prior year returns Preparation of T1, T2, T3 and GST/HST type returns Setup systems by entering historical data Foster strong relationships with Members Recognize Member needs and connect them with our other domain experts within the company and network. Education and Experience Comprehensive experience with at least one full corporate tax cycle; 3+ cycles preferred and considered a strong asset. Proficiency in tax preparation & accounting software, specifically with Taxprep/IFirm, Xero is an asset Strong proficiency in corporate tax processes and regulations. Experience preparing tax returns Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Superior client service skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines Dedicated to providing financial support that empowers Members Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to analyze unique scenarios and provide customized recommendations Why FBC?
