Overview As our Senior Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our clients’ systems running smoothly. What you will be working on? Complete physical and electrical installation, diagnose and repair issues for access control, intrusion systems, video, telephone, and network systems. Work across commercial, industrial, and other types of buildings, completing Service Work Orders within the support of tech resources from various suppliers. Follow‑up on Service Work Orders, completing all required documentation and communicating any issues or recommendations as they arise. Provide technical support to other technicians, sometimes across different job sites. Participates in the on‑call service rotation. Perform ULC Fire and Communications inspections to ensure compliance and safety. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in installation/service of Access Control,CCTV,Intrusion Systems, Security Integration, panel, and system programming. Specific knowledge considered a strong asset: ICT‑Protégé, DSC, C‑Cure/Software House, Avigilon, Keyscan, Genetec, Salto, Kantech, Avigilon, Hikvision, TOA, Aiphone, MESH intercom, and phone entry systems. Advanced computer skills: Excellent knowledge of computer hardware and Windows and product application software. Flexible, dynamic thinker, able to assess issues, effectively prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License (G level).
