OverviewBusiness Planning Analyst - Canon Canada — HybridAre you motivated by data that drives real business decisions? Do you enjoy analyzing sales trends, pricing, and market data to uncover insights that shape strategy?ResponsibilitiesAnalyzing and interpreting sales and market data, identifying trends and opportunities, and delivering insights to support strategic decision-making.Preparing sales forecasts and price points with the internal sales team to ensure sufficient inventory levels.Maintaining and analyzing the procurement plan (forecast, sales plan, safety stock) and providing recommendations to maximize sales and improve accuracy.Generating reports for Canon Canada assigned product lines.Conducting market research and analyzing competitor pricing and positioning to inform procurement and sales strategies.Providing insights on customer behavior, product performance, and market dynamics.Supporting the development and maintenance of budget plans during key financial periods.Identifying opportunities for process improvements and making recommendations.QualificationsPost-secondary education in Business Administration or FinanceMinimum of 3 years of work experienceStrong analytical skills to analyze forecasting, pricing, and competitive market data to offer solutionsAdvanced computer skills to use lookups, Pivot Tables, and If statements in ExcelExperience in SQL, Python, and Power BIEffective time management and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and submit forecastsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across departmentsDetail-oriented and assertive approach to accountabilityWhy JoinHYBRID WORK: We offer a Hybrid work schedule.
