Shift - Days

Responsibilities

  • Performs tool and die maintenance work including repairs as required.
  • Responsible for completion of necessary paperwork including work orders/time sheets/log board entries/line book revisions as required in a timely manner
  • Assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement suggestions on the production line
  • Ordering parts and following the parts received procedure
  • Performing routing preventive maintenance as required
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean tidy and organized work area
  • Work in a safe manner at all times
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of OHSA and the regulations
  • Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that requires to be used or worn
  • Report to manager or supervisor the absence of or defect in any equipment or protective device of which you are aware and which may endanger yourself or another worker
  • Report to manager or supervisor any contravention of OHSA or the regulations or the existence of any hazard of which you know
  • Not use or operate any equipment, machine, device or thing or work in a manner that may endanger yourself or any other worker
  • Not engage in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct
  • Work in compliance and conform to IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards.

Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a licensed Tool and Die Maker or equivalent
  • The candidate should be familiar with CNC Programming.
  • Should have the ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Well versed with good communication skills (written and oral).
