Work may also include projects within the trade to install, maintain, repair and overhaul central air conditioning systems, commercial and industrial refrigeration systems and combined heating, ventilation and cooling systems.The hourly wage for this role is $44.93 CAD. Working on a rotation of 14 days on, and 14 days off, shift is 7:00-17:30.Responsibilities:Completes timely inspections, testing and accurate reporting of equipment defects/deficiencies.Performs scheduled maintenance service on HVAC and Refrigeration systems and fixtures.Performs scheduled maintenance service on all kitchen appliances and equipment.Provides input into the planned and scheduled work and assists with the completion of the committed schedule.Assists with the scoping, estimating, planning and execution of new work or projects.Ensures all requirements as specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met.Ensures all installations, repairs and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes.Ensure all installations, repairs and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Journeyman Certified HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic (Red Seal) with a minimum of 5 years of experience.Approved certificates in Fall Arrest, Confined Space, and Elevated Work Platform preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent ability to read drawings and schematicsAbility to work in a fast paced, team environmentAble to read drawings and blueprintsStrong commitment to personal and team safetyAbility to build and work in a team environment is crucialStrong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operationsHighly experienced with customer/client/user management in a 24/7 operation with a strong customer focusAbilities to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools and materialsBasic PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and OutlookProfessional communication skills, oral, and writtenAbility to prioritize and multitaskWork well under pressureEffectively solve problemsWe would like to thank everyone for their application; however, only those being considered for an interview will be contacted.This position has been identified as safety sensitive and will require completion of a pre-employment alcohol & drug test, fit to work medical test and criminal record check.Collection, use, and retention of personal information will be in accordance with ATCO Group privacy policies and practices.By submitting your resume and personal information to the ATCO Group of Companies, and/or participating in a personal interview, you acknowledge and consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information by the ATCO Group of Companies to determine your suitability for employment opportunities within the ATCO Group of Companies.About UsWe’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, always does what needs to be done, and loves the thrill and sense of accomplishment that comes with taking on new and meaningful work.
