As a Security Consultant II, you’ll help protect TELUS Health by implementing and maintaining security controls, investigating incidents, and supporting threat management. You’ll collaborate across architecture, DevSecOps, cloud, and offensive security to strengthen our overall security posture. What you will do Threat Management & Prevention: Monitor threat intelligence, manage WAF, endpoint, network, identity, and application security tools Engineer, Implement and operate: Support our varied business requirements and solutions spanning zero‑trust, privileged identity, data security, endpoint detection and response, cloud security and many more Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Conduct threat hunting, triage incidents, and act as an incident responder Continuous improvement & Automation: Define SIEM/SOAR requirements, develop security automation, and design tools for secure development What you bring Strong curiosity and passion for cybersecurity Experience in infrastructure security, data security, application security, Zero Trust, Endpoint Security and vulnerability management Hands‑on expertise with SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel), SOAR, and EDR/MDR tools Knowledge of penetration testing and incident response processes Familiarity with cloud security tools (CSPM, CNAPP) and CI/CD pipelines Great-to-haves Threat modeling experience Salary Range: $82,000-$124,000 Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12% Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
