Job Description Senior VP Capital Markets (External Wholesaler) We have an opportunity for an ambitious business development leader to drive results for a family of funds specializing in alternative investments. Your primary responsibility would be selling into the already established National Accounts of the firm with the focus on Western Canada (Alberta & BC). We offer a competitive base salary along with an attractive commission / bonus plan. Base Salary Range : $175000-$185000 uncapped commission Role Conduct sales meetings with IIROC advisors while explaining the advantages of partnering with the firm & the benefits of alternative investments. To achieve this you will: Leverage your established advisor relationships while continuing to network for new relationships. Assist in developing and implementing strategies designed to provide support to advisors. Assist with marketing strategies for the firm to grow AUM. Ideal Candidate Profile 10 years of External Wholesale experience with a strong track record of success in sales & a large established network of Advisors to sell into. Experience in selling alternative investments. University degree or equivalent industry education (industry designations are an added bonus). Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
