As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Ward Clerk provides supportive service to patients, core nursing staff and physicians and works in cooperation with departments within the hospital setting as well as other Nursing units.The Ward Clerk ensures that the principles and practices that guide our work such as the mission, vision, values, expected behaviours, the leadership philosophy, organizational health, population health, ethics, safety, quality, partnerships and interprofessional collaboration are integrated within the services they provide and through the messages they deliver.About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Grade 12Completion of office administration programMinimum one year experience in office administrationMedical terminology courseor willingness to obtainDemonstrated knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applicationsGood interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in an area with frequent interruptionsCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursPermanent, Part-Time (80%) Position; 56 Hours Bi-weeklyCompensation and Incentives$20.09 - $21.90 HourlySuccessful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.Once You've AppliedThank you for your interest in this position.
