Niman Mamo LLP has an opening for a Law Clerk (Family Law) role. This is a unique opportunity to join a modern and team-oriented family law boutique firm, and to work on some of the most prominent and interesting cases in Canada. The successful candidate will drive service excellence through a client-centered approach in their work that supports the firm’s overall objectives to achieve the best results for our clients. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Preparing drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as: Affidavit of Service Financial Statements Net Family Property Statements Motions Conference briefs Confirmations, and correspondence Prepare and maintain client files Preparing files for court Obtaining and assembling disclosure Scheduling Lawyer’s meetings and other events Communications with client, opposing counsel, and third parties Transcription of letters, memos, and documents Closing files sending to storage Emergency Reception coverage General and administrative duties as required Photocopying/filing/binding etc. Manage incoming emails Other duties as assigned to meet business needs Requirements Law Clerk certificate/diploma A minimum of 5 years experience in family law Remuneration is extremely competitive.
