Your Opportunity at SECURE As our Account Manager, you’ll support the day‑to‑day customer service, field operations, and business development activities for the Specialty Chemicals business line. Work Environment This is a full‑time position supporting the surrounding area of Whitecourt, AB. Field visits and local travel will be required. A Day in The Life Support senior account managers with customer inquiries, product deliveries, and service coordination. Maintain inventory records and assist with ordering and product delivery as required. Help identify and follow up on new business opportunities. Conduct product testing and assist in preparing technical reports and presentations. Build strong working relationships with customers through responsive communication and follow‑up. Learn and apply knowledge about SECURE’s product lines and customer applications. Participate in safety meetings, site visits, and community engagement initiatives. Provide weekly updates on customer activity, plans, and future business opportunities. Skills, Experience & Qualifications A post‑secondary diploma or degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience). A strong interest in learning about production chemicals and field operations in the oil and gas industry. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to sites as required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong organizational and time‑management skills. A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a desire to grow within the organization. Nice To Have Previous exposure to oil and gas operations or industrial environments Basic knowledge of chemical handling or laboratory testing.
