Apply now and start your adventure with usKey Responsibilities and ExpectationsWork safely alone and as part of a teamClosely adhere to all safety standards and proceduresEffectively contribute to a strong team environment through assisting teammates in accomplishing mutual goalsInspect and test various electrical and electro-mechanical equipmentPerform electrical tests using portable electronic equipment including but not limited to: Megger, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, and DLROInstall/Remove AC and DC electric motors and generators, laser align equipment, read precision measuring tools such as micrometers, replace sleeve and anti-friction bearings, set seals, air gap, torque critical components to proper torque specsClean electro-mechanical equipment utilizing bead blasting, ice blasting, and solvent cleaningEnsure a professional environment, utilizing customer-facing skillsComplete assigned work in compliance with operative policies and proceduresPerform work in compliance with operating policies and proceduresQualifications and CompetenciesJourney person, Technologist, or Engineering certification requiredPdMA testing experience preferredLevel I Vibration Analysis preferredLevel 1 Infrared Scanning preferred4+ years of AC/DC motor and/or generator experienceStrong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise executionAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work procedures, and apply strong analytical problem-solving dynamics in a continuous improvement environmentAbility to collaborate with team membersStrong customer focus with professional communicationAvailable and willing to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as required, willing to be on-callStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer skillsMust have a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving recordAbility to travel locally and overnightPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of timeAbility to perform manual labor for up to 12 hours per dayAcute hearing and a strong field of visionAbility to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditionsBenefitsPaid Time OffRRSP Employer MatchOn-the-job TrainingTuition Reimbursement ProgramSafety shoe & glasses reimbursementAnd moreIPS is committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or veteran status.Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. #J-18808-Ljbffr
