You will play a key role in delivering tangible benefits to a wide array of legal professionals, contributing to efficiency and our mission of transforming the legal experience for all.A day in the life might look likeActing as a technical stakeholder for multiple projects within your area of focusPartnering with development managers in defining the technical roadmap for an areaIdentifying and resolving technical big rocks that unblock product opportunitiesWriting high quality, well-tested codeCollaborating with a team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to Clio customersRecognizing when the simple solution is the right oneSimplifying coding patterns, interfaces, and abstractions to make them more approachableUsing a wide variety of technologies, learning new things, and challenging yourselfReviewing and providing feedback on a peer's code, within your team or across ClioTeaching and learning from those around you, providing constructive feedback and growth What you may haveExperience in software development, specifically with building web applications at scale and Ruby on RailsThe ability to master new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic environment with distributed teams and customersDemonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using an Agile process and with large-scale SaaS productsA diverse base of knowledge to help solve complex technical problemsA portfolio of successful projects (and lessons learned from failed projects)Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues and customersWhat you will find hereCompensation is a key part of Clio’s Total Rewards Program. Salary bands may differ by location and currency. Benefit offerings may differ by location.We aim to hire between the minimum and midpoint of the full salary range. The midpoint is reserved for internal high performers. Final offer depends on experience and skillset.
