You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services Technology team, working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to drive innovation and modernization across securities lending and repo platforms.In This RoleLead the design and development of robust architecture using Unix Scripts, Python, Oracle, Kafka, and Snowflake.Integrate Spring Boot applications with Oracle WebLogic JMS to ensure seamless communication and data flow.Analyze and optimize systems within the Securities Lending and Repo domain to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk.Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with industry standards.Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable plans.Work modelWe believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2–3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our wellbeing programs.What You Need To Have To Be ConsideredBanking and Financial Services knowledge, especially in Securities Services, Repo & Lending.14–18 years of experience in software architecture and development.Experience designing and developing scalable software solutions using Unix Scripts, Python, Oracle, Kafka, and Snowflake.Strong Core Java development skills, leveraging the Spring Framework.Proficiency in JSON and XML for data interchange and transformation.Experience integrating Spring Boot applications with Oracle WebLogic JMS.Familiarity with GIT for version control and collaboration.Proven ability to conduct thorough code reviews and testing.Experience analyzing and optimizing systems in the Securities Lending and Repo domain.These will help you stand outAbility to mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning.Strong stakeholder collaboration and requirement analysis skills.Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends.Knowledge of security and regulatory compliance standards.Experience with Mainframe Modernization initiatives.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingBusiness Consulting and Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
