Your new Role:

The organization is looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support a large project coming up in Vancouver As the HR BP you will be representing the organization and will be responsible for collaborating on site with the HR Manager of the project. Not only will you work with your project team locally but with the head office (in Italy) and other HR manages within projects across CA.
Handle everything from hiring and benefits to compliance and employee relations
Providing hands-on and strategic input, insight and advice on people related issues; talent management, employee relations, coaching/development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development, and training
Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals
Play an essential role in establishing and driving HR programs/talent initiatives, while always ensuring they align with a company's business objectives

What you will need to succeed:

8-10 years of Human Resources Business Partner and/or Human Resources Generalist experience
Previous experience within the following industries will be an asset: construction and civil engineering
A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in HR Management or a related field is an asset
Technical abilities: strong analytical skills, knowledge of relevant labor laws, strategic leadership, cultural awareness, project management, and business acumen
Workplace skills: strong interpersonal communication, mentoring, active listening, autonomy, and the ability to drive change
