They will ensure the store is in tip-top shape and become knowledgeable about cannabis to share with customers. We’re looking for go-getters who love to meet new people, cultivate relationships, and learn about this growing industry.Role And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToCustomer OfferingGreet customers upon entrance; engage in conversation and build a relationship to understand specific needsFacilitate a welcoming and positive atmosphere for everyone in the storeEducate customers about cannabis products, strains and consumption methodsDay to Day OperationsPromote our culture and brand by participating in merchandising and promotional activitiesWork in partnership with Store Managers and other team members to generate salesMaintain a high level of product and service knowledge; staying up-to-date with industry legislation, trends and new productsParticipate in routine store maintenance and ensure cleanliness is a priorityComplete customer transactions on the POS system and adhere to all cash and Loss Prevention proceduresMonitor inventory and re-stock product regularlyRegulatory AdherenceComply with all OH&S (Occupational, Health, and Safety) policies and proceduresSupport and promote Nova Cannabis’s and AGCO’s social responsibility programsComply with Nova Cannabis’s policies, standard operating procedures, and practicesExperience And QualificationsMinimum 2 years of customer service experienceMinimum 2 years of retail and/or hospitality experienceCannabis, liquor or healthcare experience is preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid CannSell certificationMust complete and pass a Criminal Record CheckWorking knowledge of regulations as it pertains to selling cannabis in OntarioPersonal Characteristics And RequirementsExcellent customer service skills; you have a positive attitude, are charismatic, and are very comfortable engaging with customersAbility to think on your feet and creatively problem solveOpen-minded and constantly identifying ways to improvePassionate about creating a positive, memorable, and tailored experience for every customerExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a professional demeanourTeam player who is passionate about supporting the overall success of the businessUphold ethics, confidentiality, and demonstrate a high level of discretion at all timesResponsible and reliableMust be 19 years of age or olderMust have reliable transportation to commute to/from workWe are grateful for the interest in this role from all candidates; however, we will be contacting only those that are selected for next steps in the hiring process.Our Commitment To Diversity & Inclusion SNDL is an equal opportunity employer.
